Nutrition

What we eat and the environment that we create for the microorganisms in our gut has a profound impact on our health and healing. Factors such as food intolerance, intestinal hyperpermeability (“leaky gut”), and dysbiosis (disruption of intestinal microflora), are increasingly understood to have an impact of our metabolism, mood and cognition, inflammation, and ability to detoxify.  We provide nutritional counseling to support changes that are implementable, sustainable, and effective in achieving weight loss, reducing inflammation, improving metabolism and energy production, ameliorating gastrointestinal symptoms, and addressing related concerns. Appointments are 1 hour for new patients and 30 or 60 minutes for follow up.  Our practitioners providing these services are not part of any insurance networks; these services are self-pay (see Fees for specifics).
