Gastrointestinal

 (Including: IBS and IBD)

Gastrointestinal illness typically manifests in pain, bloating/gas, constipation, diarrhea, or some combination of these symptoms. Functional illness is often characterized as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), and inflammatory illness as Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Crohn’s and Colitis). Contributory influences to such illness may be multifactorial and difficult to identify, but may include disruption of the healthy microbial balance in the gut, food intolerances, and psycho/spiritual events and patterns of experience.

As practitioners, our role in support of healing is to remove contributing influences, restore necessary nutrients and microbial balance in the gut, and support healthy eating and energetic patterns.
